What about my kids?

Babies (age 0-2)

Life can look rather different once you attend church with an under 2 in tow. We want young families to feel included and comfortable.

At our Crowthorne site, we provide a stay-and-play creche; a safe environment with toys and space for your little ones to play with the main service streamed on a large screen. A nappy changing station is available here too.

Young families are welcome to stay together in the service or make use of the creche at any time, depending what works best for you on the day.

Kids (age 2 - 11)

It’s not babysitting. It’s not school.

‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, the kingdom of God is for such as these.’

Kids church is where the children can meet together, have fun, and experience the Kingdom.

Our time together is jam-packed and can get messy and noisy. In the Vineyard, we say ‘Everyone gets to play!’ meaning every follower of Jesus can do the stuff of the Kingdom. This applies to our children too, so expect them to be praying for healing and experiencing the Holy Spirit in their own ways.

If you’ll be bringing someone aged 2-11 to church we would love them to join us, head to the Kids check-in desk before the service starts – and don’t forget to collect them at the end!

Youth (Year 7-13)

At our Crowthorne site those in Years 7-13 sit together during worship, and then head to a breakout room

Along with Youth leaders they play games, have great questions and discussion times and grow in their individual understanding of what living a Christian life in today’s world really means.

Youth Hangout – our version of a Small Group for older kids – is run by the same team on weekdays (usually on Fridays). To find out more, get in touch with our youth team at:

Additional needs

We want to treat each child as the individual that God made them to be and do our best to know, understand, and support and see the God-given potential in every child under our care.

We know that some children will need additional support in place to access and meaningfully engage in our programmes. If your child needs any additional support, then please do send us an email at:

Baby Dedications

We believe children are a gift from God! Here at the Vineyard we want to celebrate this and standing alongside you as you seek to raise your children to know and love God.

When we dedicate a child we are thanking God for them and committing to bringing them up to know Jesus. This happens as part of our Sunday service and we encourage family and friends to come along to join the celebration.
